Andy Jackson won the 2013 Whitmore Press Manuscript Prize with the thin bridge, and his recent collection Immune Systems (Transit Lounge, 2015) explores India and medical tourism. He has performed at literary events and arts festivals in Australia, India, USA and Ireland, and is currently co-editing a disability-themed issue of Southerly.
