Little Windows Press launched its first series of chapbooks, LW1, in 2016. Publishers Alison Flett and Jill Jones decided to trial the process with their own work but were keen that the series should also include an interstate poet and a poet from overseas. They wanted the books to give readers a ‘little window’ into the oeuvre of each poet, to be elegant in design with a simple, handmade feel and to be both local and global in outlook. They were lucky enough to persuade two excellent and highly regarded poets to join them. The final line-up for series one was:
